Burt's Bees Lip Balm

I really like Burt's Bees Lip Balm and recently added to my small collection so decided to create a post talking about my favourite ones. Burt's Bees have quite a substantial collection of lip balms, many of these ranging from tinted to your basic balms. All of the balms are made with 100% natural ingredients which is another added bonus

The above lip balm was the first from Burt's Bees that i tried, and i was not disappointed. I really like the slight tint it gives your lips. It works great as a little pick-me-up and adds a little colour to your face.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia

I find this balm to be quite matte. The colour is really pretty and isn't too intense straight away, starting at a sheer tint that can be built up for more of a solid colour.

This balm is a little different from the other balms from Burt's Bees. I find the texture of this one to be a little bit more like a lipstick. It's quite shimmery and i also really like the colour of this one too.  One of the ingredients in this balm is peppermint oil, and this makes this balm a real winner for me. I really like minty balms as i feel they are quite refreshing and can also help to perk you up a little during the day.

So this balm is the original Burt's Bees balm. It has no added tint unlike the others, however, that does not mean it is not just as nice as the others! This balm also contains peppermint oil which i really like about it as it's really refreshing. As i find with all Burt's Bees lip balms, this is very moisturising on the lips, due to their main ingredient, beeswax which is known for it's moisturising and healing properties for the skin. It's also quite light and doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all.

If you haven't tried Burt's Bees lip balms before, i highly recommend that you try them! They have many variations of colours and types of balm which is great because there is always something to suit everyone.

Clinique 3-Step Skincare System Review

I am someone who thinks that taking care of your skin is very important. It's important to use the right products for your skin type and to keep skin clean. That's one of the sacrifices of wearing make-up - having to wash it off.

For nearly two years i have religiously been using the Clinique 3-Step system. I learnt about it from my Mum who also used to use and still continues to use some of the products from the range. I started off by purchasing the smaller 3-step kit. As advised by my Mum, i went for number 1 - for dry skin. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Clinique 3-Step system, there are many different types of system. These ranging from number 1 for dry skin all the way up to number 4 for very oily skin.

From first use of the kit i instantly loved it. It makes sure all traces of make-up are removed and leaves your skin feeling fresh and squeaky clean! The liquid facial soap is sensitive on the skin and doesn't dry it out whatsoever. The clarifying lotion helps to make sure that all make-up is removed and also gently exfoliates the skin. The Dramatically Different Moisturising lotion moisturises skin really well and is one of the best moisturisers i have ever used! The moisturiser is also really important to me as i do have dry skin and this one has never let me down.

Since using this first starter kit, i have gone through two more full sized kits and have continuously used this skin care system. I would agree that it is the best skin care routine i have ever used and in my opinion is definitely worth the money. For anyone interested in trying out this skin care system i would advise to try with the starter kit first to make sure that you do actually like the products before spending money on the full sized bottles.
